Job Description
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 3-5 years' experience in the steel service environment (an advantage) CAD experience essential SigmaNest experience advantageous Good communication and interpersonal skills Bilingual Futher Studies in Mechanical Engineering will be an advantage.
Key Performance Areas
Generate quotes and book in orders using the internal quoting and data system (VDS). Draw up parts from existing samples and reference drawings in CAD format for flame and laser cutting
purposes.
Have quotes and drawings confirmed by the customer for processing. Liaise with customers in person, via telephone, fax and email regarding their cutting requirements and
orders.
Follow up on sent quotes. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with a varied customer base. Follow up on and provide feedback to customers regarding their work in progress. Liaise with different departments to ensure the smooth flow of orders. Add to and maintain a comprehensive parts database. Assist as and when required by management.
