Are you passionate about airfreight logistics, and the smaller international courier/parcel type Airfreight (Import + Export) shipments ?This is an office-based job (in Randburg, Gauteng). Preference will be given to South Africans. Employment Type = based at our office, Full-time.Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will have 2 x team members reporting to you.
• Train, coach, mentor and guide your team members, to deliver good results, and achieve targets.
• To manage shipments for a portfolio of clients, from pick-up to delivery (full function). Daily update to Customers on the status of their shipments.
• Deal with/resolve problems with shipments pro-actively.
• Do cold calling, and book good quality appointments telephonically for your Manager to attend. Training will be provided to you.
• Constructively seek new clients and opportunities to expand the client base.
• Do quotations for clients, and book International Shipments, via Air Freight for clients.
• Ensuring the accurate tariffs (HS/HTS Code) application on all shipments.
• Managing the profitability of every shipment and raising any issues or incidents that would impact the profitability of the account.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships with existing customers.
• Build/Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers.
• Constantly demonstrating and living our Company Values.
• Ability to use your own initiative required.
• Various Admin duties, and various Customer Service/Support duties.
• Meet targets and fit in with our small team.

• Must have passed Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 2 years experience in International Airfreight Logistics and/or related work experience. Good track record with Sales.
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 + Customs Tariff Codes (HS Codes).
• Strong Communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Commercial attitude, and results orientated.
• Good attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic Afrikaans language will be an advantage.
