Contribute towards projects, by compiling and executing technical project activity plans together with Project Manager.
Contribute and assist towards research projects in plant pathology with a focus on grapevine (table, wine and raisin grapes) and fruit trees (citrus, stone, pome, olive.)
Assist in microscopy, fungicide trials, isolations from plant material and diagnostics of fungal diseases.
Molecular identification of fungal pathogens.
Collect, capture, process, interpret technical data, and make internal project recommendations.
Prepare reports and conduct contract research independently.
Assist with compiling and managing projects and purchases.
MSc in Plant Pathology or BSc Honours/BSc (Agric) in Plant Pathology.
Demonstrate capacity to conduct research.
Must be a South African Citizen.
Valid drivers license will be an added advantage.
