Job Description


How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The National Warehouse Manageris responsible for planning, leading, organising and controlling hard goods, production spare parts, capital spare parts and consumable items at Air Liquide
sites nationally. He/She will implement accurate reporting and control systems and continuously identify inventory management improvement opportunities.
He/She will ensure the implementation of inventory policies and procedures to ensure adherence to procurement standards.General: Support Treasury Manager with working capital management initiatives Support ERP system implementation Build internal networks and relationships to support an effective shared service centre mindset Develop effective working relationships with all members of the Finance Shared Service Centre Support business owners and category managers in developing inventory management strategies Inventory Management: Oversee and participate in the development of inventory and stores management policies and procedures Ensure that optimal and essential inventory levels are maintained in order to meet business needs Ensure inventory items are procured, received, stored and issued efficiently and effectively Coordinate periodic audits of inventory and stores Implement and monitor inventory quality and quantity control systems Manage the consolidation of inventory reporting and ensure the adjustment/update of inventory levels and information on system.Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings Responsible for stock taking Manage obsolescence Business Intelligence: Analyse past and future demand volumes, inventory trends and levels to inform demand plan and decision making Consolidate and analyse inventory data to track consumption and identify variances and inefficiencies Quality Assurance and Advisory: Perform a periodic audit on inventory to ensure reporting is accurate Investigate certain issues revealed in inventory intelligence Provide stores business owners with advisory services with regards to disposal of redundant or expired inventory, replenishment lead times, optimal levels of inventory, etc. Reporting: Compile and submit relevant reports on inventory levels, quality, shelf life and replenishment needs Ensure that all records and documentation relating to the issuing and receiving of stock is maintained Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals Obtain, Challenge and Manage Inventory Demand and replenishment Assist user departments to develop specifications Assist Category Managers in reviewing and challenging user specifications.
