Our client is looking for high-performing candidates with stellar track records and a genuine passion for the financial markets and continuous learning. Responsibilities: Industry and competitor case studies Sourcing and interviewing competitors, customers Searching local and global competitors, and establishing relationships Searching of articles written about a business highlighting competitive risks and advantages Researching management track record and history and reviewing annual reports Researching and providing opinion on ESG related issues Prepare letters to boards and investors expressing ESG Prepare risk reports, further develop risk tools and strategies Monitor news flow from various sources to the analyst team Requirements: Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification at no less than honours level, with a preference to CA(SA) qualified candidates, whether qualifying towards the end of 2024 or maximum 2 years post articles experience Must have a stellar academic track record and top performer during articles Genuine interest in a career within investments Excellent relationship building skills High attention to detail Highly numerate and analytical thinker Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure Good team player This is an Employment Equity designated opportunity, in line with our clients EE requirements.
