The team embeds quantitative models directly into its decision-making process, as well as using a market-leading range of additional models and data to augment its traditional, analyst led research process.The investment analytics team with a strong focus on fixed income, which is responsible for developing and maintaining analytics that assist the active investment process, with an emphasis on giving portfolio managers access to high quality investment information and portfolio metrics in a timely and scalable manner. The team embeds quantitative models directly into its decision-making process, as well as using a market-leading range of additional models and data to augment its traditional, analyst led research process. The global investment team have statistical and econometrics backgrounds, consistently engaging with portfolio decision-makers and analysts, with significant impact on major decisions made by the team.JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• You will be required to primarily play an active role in development and enhancement of fixed income analytics and processes;
• You will be required to drive portfolio construction and analysis;
• You will be required to ensure risk surfacing and monitoring;
• You will be required to facilitate market analysis and statistical model development;
• You will be required to work with investment analytics team to leverage best in class tooling to produce and enhance our suite of decision support tools;
• You will be required to work on the development of packages and UI components using technologies such as Python, R, or JavaScript.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• You have a B.Sc honours degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering or similar - this would be beneficial;
• You have a minimum of 3 years current, relevant work experience with demonstrable skills in functional programming and/ or software development - this would be beneficial;
• You have knowledge and experience relating to front-end technologies and API's - this would be beneficial;
• You have experience within financial services, asset management, studied toward relevant financial qualification or can evidence a strong interest in financial markets.
