Investment Analyst (venture Capital)
Job Description
This revered venture capital firm based in Cape Town is looking to add an Investment Analyst to their high-performing team.
Job & Company Description:
Our client is a venture capital fund manager who invests in influential, fast growing, post-revenue African ventures in the technology space that has global scaling potential. The firm also offers corporate advisory and capital-raising services to its portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic high performing self-starter that will support the existing portfolio in the investment team, and will be responsible for financial due diligence, financial modelling and analysis.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Chartered Accountant or other related financial honours degree
- CFA / FMVA qualification beneficial
- Audit experience in the financial services space an advantage
- 1-2 Years experience in any corporate finance, investment banking, investment management, private equity or venture capital space
- Must be technically and mathematically strong
- Good report writing and presentation skills
- Non-negotiable: Exceptionally strong academic background - transcripts will be requested
