Job Description
This is an incredible opportunity for a CA (SA) with 4 - 6 years PQE to join a strong team of professionals in Cape Town, providing venture debt and loans to innovative and growing SMEs.This is a Cape Town based role serving international clients - mainly UK, EU and US presence.You will have deep financial analysis expertise and pride yourself on creating thorough, balanced investment papers. Exposure to SMEs and high-growth companies in corporate and commercial finance is also vital.Hybrid and flexible working arrangements!Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to take deals through to credit.
- Conduct financial due diligence.
- Collaborate with deal originators to identify solid investment opportunities and make improvements to maintain the integrity of their investment process.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed and impactful credit papers
- Manage multiple deals across a wide range of industries and in different geographical markets.
- Catalyse and manage internal and external stakeholder management.
- CA(SA) with 4-6 years of post-article experience.
- Strong experience in Financial Analysis as well as writing and reviewing credit papers.
- Transaction, Investment or Deal-Making experience.
- Exposure to SMEs and high-growth companies in corporate and commercial finance is vital.
