Research the market to find potential clients and business opportunities.
Attend networking events, conferences and industry forums to build and grow business connections.
Analyse the financial health and risks of companies through thorough research.
Create financial models to predict revenue, costs, risks and returns to support investment decisions.
Write detailed investment reports outlining key findings, risks and potential profits.
Negotiate and structure financing deals that balance risk and return.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the SME market.
Track and assess the performance of client portfolios.
Stay updated on industry rules, market changes and economic trends to adjust investment strategies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:
BCom degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar business-related field, with at least Financial Accounting 2 or an equivalent qualification.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in business investment or a related financial role.
Experience in auditing, banking, financial accounting or sales and marketing would be a plus.
The candidate should be good at building relationships, negotiating deals, analysing information and achieving results. A strong financial background is essential.
