As an IoT Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge IoT applications and devices that optimize our WiFi network performance and user experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, shaping the future of free WiFi connectivity.Responsibilities:IoT Application Development:Design and develop IoT applications and solutions to enhance the performance, security, and scalability of our free WiFi network.Integrate IoT devices, sensors, and data analytics to optimize network management and user experience.Embedded Systems Development:Develop and implement embedded systems firmware and software for IoT devices to ensure seamless communication and data processing.Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and optimize IoT device architecture.Wireless Communication Protocols:Implement and optimize wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee) to enable efficient data exchange between IoT devices and our network infrastructure.Ensure compatibility and interoperability of IoT devices with various wireless technologies.Data Management and Analytics:Set up data management and analytics pipelines to collect, store, and analyze data from IoT devices for network monitoring and performance optimization.Use data insights to drive continuous improvements in our free WiFi services.Security and Privacy:Implement robust security measures to protect IoT devices and data from potential cyber threats.Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and best practices for data handling.Testing and Validation:Conduct thorough testing and validation of IoT applications, firmware, and devices to identify and resolve issues.Perform integration testing with existing systems to ensure seamless functionality.Documentation and Reporting:Create detailed technical documentation for IoT development, including specifications, architecture, and user guides.Generate regular progress reports and updates on IoT development projects.Collaboration and Innovation:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers and software developers, to align IoT initiatives with overall company goals.Stay up-to-date with emerging IoT technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions for enhancing our WiFi services.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) as an IoT Developer, working on IoT applications and embedded systems.Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in IoT development (e.g., C/C++, Python, Java, Bash).Strong proficiency in Linux scripting.Experience in circuit board diagnostics (eg, soldering, continuity testing).In-depth knowledge of wireless communication protocols and IoT connectivity standards.Familiarity with IoT platforms, frameworks, and cloud services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub).Experience in developing and integrating IoT sensors and devices.Solid understanding of data management, analytics, and visualization tools.Knowledge of network protocols, especially related to WiFi connectivity.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualities:Experience in the telecommunications industry or with WiFi services.Knowledge of edge computing and fog computing concepts.Familiarity with IoT security best practices and encryption techniques.Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and bringing innovative ideas to the table.Join our free WiFi company and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our smart WiFi solutions through IoT development.
