Job Description

Stefanutti Stocks Corporate Services is looking for enthusiastic and specialized IoT Solutions Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IoT systems in construction and mining operations. The role requires a deep understanding of IoT technologies and applications in industrial environments.The candidate also requires experience in deploying IoT solutions, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Installation and Configuration:

• Install and configure IoT devices, sensors, and networks in construction and / or mining sites.
• Ensure proper integration of IoT systems with existing infrastructure and equipment.

System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IoT systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IoT installations.

Project Management:

• Manage IoT deployment projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to ensure smooth project implementation.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect and analyze data from IoT devices to provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
• Generate detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

Technical Support and Training:

• Provide technical support to field personnel and end-users.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on the operation and maintenance of IoT systems.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all IoT installation comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance and safety standards.

Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in IoT systems installation and configuration, preferably in construction or mining industries.Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including sensors, connectivity, and data analytics.Proficiency in networking and wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, etc).Experience with cloud platforms and services 9e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT).Familiarity with data analysis tools and software.Experience with industrial automation systems and protocols. (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, Modbus).Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
