Job Description
A company situated in Nelspruit Mpumalanga is seeking an experienced IR Consultant to join its growing team in servicing businesses in the Mpumalanga area in terms of industrial relations. If you are a junior IR Consultant or a recent graduate, you are also encouraged to apply.This person will be responsible for the below functions whilst servicing a portfolio of customers in and around the Nelspruit area.
- Chairing of disciplinary hearings
- Chairing of grievance hearings
- Chairing of incapacity innvestigations
- Drafting of warnings, memo's and hearing outcomes
- Facilitate employee counselling sessions and record keeping of such
- Conduct regular customer visits to ensure that policy are understood and adhered to
- Facilitation of Section 189 processes
- Representation of clients at the CCMA at concilliations, arbitrations and condonations
- Faciliate regular policy reviews, SOP reviews
- Have adequate knowledge in terms of the LRA, BCEA and sectoral determinations
- Faciliate Union contact sessions in terms of wage negotiations and employee consultations
- Act as management helpdesk in resolving queries and providing IR support when requested
- Train, upksill and develop clients on IR knowledge, processes, risk and areas for improvement
