A leading organization is on the hunt for a proactive and strategic Information Security Officer (ISO) to safeguard critical data and systems in Pretoria (On-Site/Hybrid TBD). If you are passionate about cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance, and hold CISSP, CISM, or CISA, this role is for you!
As the ISO, you will drive information security programs, enforce cybersecurity policies, and mitigate risks in line with ISO 27001 & POPIA compliance.Qualifications: xc3xa2xc2x9cxc2x94xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
xc3xa2xc2x9cxc2x94xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CISA (mandatory).
xc3xa2xc2x9cxc2x94xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Additional technical certifications in Azure (Az-900, SC-900, AZ-104), CCNP Security, Fortinet, Palo Alto Firewalls (advantageous).
xc3xa2xc2x9cxc2x94xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related technical role.
xc3xa2xc2x9cxc2x94xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and access management.Key Responsibilities: xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x94xc2xb9 Security Program Development Implement and maintain the organization's cybersecurity strategy.
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x94xc2xb9 Risk & Vulnerability Management Conduct security assessments, identify threats, and mitigate risks.
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x94xc2xb9 Incident Response & Disaster Recovery Manage security incidents, breaches, and data leaks.
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x94xc2xb9 Compliance & Audits Ensure ISO 27001, POPIA, and regulatory compliance.
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x94xc2xb9 Security Awareness & Training Promote a security-first culture across all departments.
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x94xc2xb9 Vendor & Access Management Manage external security vendors and identity & access controls.
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x94xc2xb9 Reporting & Communication Provide insights on security status, risks, and compliance levels.
