We are a committed group that takes pride in looking after our clients and employees and always delivering exceptional customer service.We have a great opportunity for someone with Prior experience in first level technical support.In this role you will experience a real blend of on the spot problem solving, and customer support, itll be a daily test for your analytical mind, with plenty of opportunities to engage with and assist a fantastic range of people.As part of our Desktop Services team, youll be on hand to provide swift and effective IT desktop support and advice day to day wherever the question or issue might come from. Youll be able to diagnose and resolve problems across hardware, software, network, systems and other computing related tech, and be quick to spot and analyze performance issues that arise.You will do:

  • Hands-on experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012.
  • Active Directory, Exchange 2019 online and on-prem.
  • User account creation for Active Directory, Exchange Mailboxes, Distribution lists.
  • Remote desktop connectivity applications.
  • Internet browsers (Explorer, Chrome, Edge).
  • MS Office Suite (Office 365), MS Teams & SharePoint Support.
  • Expert knowledge of Corporate VPN technologies. Beneficial.
  • Support for laptops, desktops, and manufacturing and corporate printing environments.
  • Phone and email support.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.
  • Respond to Service Desk tickets within our SLA timeframes, ensuring all tickets are followed up or escalated until completed.
  • You are a proactive task master, working on multiple support items and technology projects whilst achieving all deadlines.
You will have:
  • Matric and Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field A+, N+ or related.
  • Clear criminal record;
  • South African citizen;
  • Networking experience (Advantageous)
  • Firewall exposure (Advantageous)
  • Working experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS systems (Advantageous)
  • Whilst support for our end-users is predominately remote support, there will be a requirement to travel within Gauteng and nationwide for on-site visits.
  • Essential - need own reliable transport and drivers license. (Depending on role)
  • Willing to work overtime, standby, and weekend (On authorised events only)
  • Communication in English and Afrikaans comes naturally both written and verbal.
  • Enjoy communicating with people and solving problems over the phone and in person.
  • Appearance - well presented and professional.
  • Have overall good health.
  • Non - Smoker & Sober Habbits
  • Willingness to learn a new system.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and break down a problem into more manageable parts.
