Job Summary Roles and responsibilities: Infrastructure Leadership: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure. Team Management: Inspire and manage a high-performing team of IT professionals. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives. Security Expertise: Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to safeguard our systems, inclusive of routine security patching etc. Innovative Solutions: Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance efficiency. Compile and manage annual budgets, monitor resources. Approve expenses and ensure alignment to approved budget. Identify cost saving initiatives to maximize financial profitability. Identify risks and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies. Infrastructure: The IT Manager will lead a team of IT professional with various skill sets to help improve and maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments. Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties. Supervises, evaluates, plans work objectives, establishes priorities and/or corrective actions for our IT systems; ensures completion of routine and ongoing IT support functions. Facility management inclusive of generators and UPS power. Oversee server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly. Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security. Locating and seizing chances to enhance and update software and systems. Creating and implementing the organizations IT policies. Performing routine system audits Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages Managing and reporting on the IT budgets allocation Collaborate across functions to develop cohesive technology solutions supporting business growth. Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running Advising the IT staff Looking for opportunities to train and build teamwork skills. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and managing such teams. Our infrastructure is built on Microsoft. On desktop we are using M365 and they are busy planning to migrate servers from on premise to Azure. Certifications such as CCNP, ITIL, or Azure Certified Solutions Architect will be a plus. Knowledge and experience with multi-server network environment (Microsoft/Linux), LAN/WAN, Fiber optic and Cisco/HP networking, MS Exchange Server, MS SQL, VMware Vsphere/Microsoft HyperV and Veeam.
