7 month contract. Hybrid Sandton / Randburg basedRequirements

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure coordination and management.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
• Recognized certifications in networking and security
• 3-5 years work exprience

Experience with planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure.IT systems, networks, and infrastructure components. * Familiarity with hardware and software solutions used in infrastructure management

• Strong project management skills to coordinate and oversee infrastructure projects.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address infrastructure issues and challenges.

Role

• Overall responsibility for managing the planning, co-ordination, configuration, installation, and management of all networks, including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Satellite, Telephony, and related client services with the enterprise.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining network architectures.
• Responsible for identification and resolution of hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions related to network and related servers.
• Makes decisions that are critical in the areas of throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning, with the potential to affect the successful execution of business transactions.
• Proactively researches and locates necessary tools and processes to identify and proactively avert troublesome trends as they develop.
• Ensures a stable performance environment for the enterprise communication system.
• Participates in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the telecommunications infrastructure
• Develop and maintain a robust network design and architecture that aligns with the organization's business objectives
• Provide documentation for the network design, including diagrams, configurations, and rationale for design decisions
• Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for the implementation of information technologies to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Oversee the implementation of network solutions, including hardware, software, and configurations
