Job Summary Position: IT Network EngineerHire Resolves client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced IT Network Engineer to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT network infrastructure. You will work closely with the team of IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the network systems.Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
• Work with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain network equipment and services
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate network systems with other IT solutions
• Provide technical support and guidance to employees on network-related issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 2-4 years of experience working as a Network Engineer
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification preferred
• Knowledge of network protocols and standards including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
