A bit more about the Opportunity...:What Your Day-to-Day will Look Like:xf0x9fx93x9a As an IT Operations Manager, you will work very closely with the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations, who will be your direct report line. You will proactively develop the change, configuration management and contingency planning disciplines by which the team can achieve the highest standards of operational quality. You will facilitate performance and capacity monitoring to ensure consistent high performance of network infrastructures, to ensure future demands are met, and accumulate reporting of relevant performance metrics.You will ensure that all network components and configurations are performing as designed, are available, secure. You will also ensure that server-based business systems are available for secured performance within the SA environment. You will need to be thoroughly involved on incident management and communication between local IT and the operational business.You will also be responsible with ensuring that tickets are delt with in a timeous manner and in line with SLA agreements. In terms of Disaster Recovery Planning, you will work in conjunction with global resilience manager to formulate and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans. This will include regular testing, updating, and coordination with various departments.You will work with IT department colleagues to maintain and develop security policies and configuration in order to guarantee the stability and integrity of the infrastructure, client compliance, upholding the reputation of Sigma publicly. You will also provide expert knowledge and informed judgement on information security and assurance to enable Sigma to maintain compliance with a variety of legislation What amazing People will bring to the role:What Amazing People will bring to the role:xf0x9fxa4xa9 You have excellent proactive problem management skills to spot trends in incident history and perform/plan fixes in advance of recurring errors. You implement prioritisation according to business impact. You have exceptional communication and good knowledge of WAN, LAN switching/VLANs. You have a general understanding of Windows RDS with amazing attention to detail and outstanding people management skills. You advocate for IT Department colleagues in the wider business and to set customer focussed culture by example within the department.Requirements:

• You have Matric (or equivalent) basic education (Required)
• You have a Degree in a discipline relevant to information technology (Required)
• You have demonstrably equivalent commercial experience or CCNP
• You have demonstrably equivalent commercial experience or MCSE
• You have 5-10 years industry experience within a BPO environment including all elements below;
• You have a general understanding of typical corporate networks configuration and operations. (TCP/IP, IPSec, VPN, DNS, DHCP, QoS), Windows 10/11 and Web platforms
• Windows RDS and Azure/Microsoft 365/AWS
