Responsibilities:

Designing new SQL Database and configuration for private markets
Building a new portal for clients to access portfolios in meaningful ways
Overseeing IT infrastructure, architecture, desktop support and network performance.
Identify, assess and manage IT risk, including cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
Develop and maintain IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards
Implement and monitor disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks (POPIA, GDPR, FICA, FATCA)
Develop, review and update IT and compliance policies and procedures
Conduct regular audits and assessments

Education:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Law
5 years experience in IT operations, compliance or similar within financial servers
Financial background, commercial understanding in Asset Management
Strong management experience
Experience with IT Risk, Governance and compliance frameworks
