Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee and coordinate our software development projects. The ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining strong business relationships, managing project schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of complex IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers to interpret and understand individual project requirements.

Legal & Procedural Changes:

Review and incorporate changes in legal and procedural requirements affecting projects.

Requirement Validation:

Validate product requirements and specifications with departmental team members to ensure alignment with business needs and facilitate a smooth handover to the development team.

Process Improvement:

Analyze information and business systems to make recommendations for process and system improvements.

Meeting Coordination:

Coordinate and manage daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with subordinates, management, and business stakeholders.

Project Reporting:

Accountable for project status reporting as per the Communication Plan or Business Unit requirements.

Project Tracking:

Track end-to-end project schedules and drive corrective actions as needed.

Project Planning:

Develop and maintain comprehensive Project Management Plans, including scope, communication, risk, issues, dependencies, cost, and stakeholder management.

Team Capacity:

Assist the Team Lead in creating and updating Team Capacity Plans and reviewing team backlogs and re-prioritization with stakeholders.

Deliverables & Milestones:

Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and tasks.

Best Practices:

Adhere to best project management practices and methodologies such as PMI standards or similar.

Change Management:

Proactively manage changes related to time, cost, and scope.

Decision Tracking:

Track project decisions and assist Business Units in benefit monitoring and reporting.

Software Development Life Cycle:

Participate in all areas of the software development life cycle and provide technical support to company personnel.

Process Management:

Manage internal business processes or systems/application development projects.

External Resources:

Liaise with and manage external resources and suppliers.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to appropriate procedures and processes.

Design Control:

Participate in design control activities, and monitor, evaluate, and ensure the completion of tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or National Diplomas in a relevant field.

Relevant Project Management Certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince II, Scrum Master).

2-3 years of experience in Software Development Project Management.

2-3 years of experience with the full product lifecycle and understanding of development lifecycle and methodologies.

Sound experience in Software Development Lifecycle and Implementation.

Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This position does not offer remote working solutions and all candidates are expected to perform their duties from the premises specified .

The position is offered with a 3 month probation period from the start date of employment specified (should the candidate successfully be recruited by our Company).
