They are currently looking for a seasoned IT Security Manager to join their dynamic team at the head office. This role calls for a proactive approach in managing and delivering operational security tasks to assess and monitor the security of applications, infrastructure, data, and the overall IT environment. You will play a crucial role in aligning security standards and frameworks with both business and technology strategies, while adhering to best industry practices.Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
• Align company standards and security frameworks with overall business and technology strategy.
• Perform assessments and diagnostics to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Maintain and enhance security measures and monitoring the security environment.
• Manage compliance with cybersecurity initiatives and oversee PCI compliance tasks.
• Design and conduct security awareness programs and training.
• Manage and maintain system endpoint protection software.
• Engage with various stakeholders to provide security guidance and support project delivery.

• Grade 12 - Matric or Senior Certificate and relevant IT qualification.
• Must have CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security.
• Strong background in managing IT security in a retail or similar environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in firewall and IDS/IPS technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
• Must be a South African citizen with a clear criminal and credit record.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
