The incumbent in this role is responsible for managing and guiding resources required for first-level IT support, rolling out the support strategy and ensuring that high quality support services are provided to support business needs.Key Responsibilities
Managing site IT infrastructure.
Registering incidents, escalating, trend and root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Maintaining IT tasks, installing, configuring and trouble shooting of hardware and software.
Managing IT continuity.
Facilitating and governing the IT Projects on site.
Ensuring the IT Services address the changing business needs.
Developing and maintaining training plans for the site IT Teams as well as encouraging continuous learning.
Ensuring ongoing site compliance to Glencore IT policies, procedures and legislation.
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant Degree.
Minimum Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in the IT environment.
Understanding and working knowledge of IT Support Delivery.
