We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated IT Support and Infrastructure Analyst to lead and oversee technology operations for our South African locations (Cape Town & Johannesburg). This is a high-impact opportunity at a leading entertainment brand, offering the chance to be a key member of our IT team, innovating the next generation of film and television production services.In this crucial role, you will manage all technology operations, ensuring smooth and efficient IT systems and applications to support our business objectives. You will collaborate with global IT teams and local stakeholders, driving IT initiatives that enhance productivity and support business growth in South Africa. A strong focus on the security and reliability of critical IT systems, protecting sensitive data, and minimizing downtime is essential.What youll do:

• Lead and manage IT operations across our South African campuses, encompassing infrastructure, network, and security.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure optimal management of network, infrastructure, and core applications, aligning with global IT strategy.
• Manage IT helpdesk operations, troubleshoot issues, and restore local services promptly.
• Coordinate technology updates, maintenance, and backups to minimize disruption and ensure business continuity.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, cabling layouts, IT policies, and procedures.
• Manage local IT vendors, sourcing IT components and consumables in accordance with our purchasing policy.
• Support technology requirements for the physical security of sites, including CCTV systems.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their IT needs and develop effective solutions.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential IT risks and vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of IT strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

What youll bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strong customer service orientation with a focus on exceeding expectations.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki networking, security, and VoIP.
• Experience with PC and server hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving, budgeting, and project management skills.
• Microsoft related technical certifications strongly preferred.
• A valid South African driver's license (Code B).
