Job Description


Our client is looking for an IT Support & Installations Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure for our proprietary systems and customer environments. As a customer-facing role, you will deliver high-quality support and resolve client issues effectively.Key Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance: Perform general server maintenance, manage log files, and ensure system backups and synchronization.
  • General Support: Address customer inquiries via email, Skype, and other platforms; troubleshoot and resolve issues; manage tickets using systems like Jira and Smart Sheets.
  • Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve performance and network issues; document system changes; manage server usage and data backup.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, manage relationships, and provide recommendations for service improvements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Matric, with a Bachelors Degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: A+/N+, MCITP, Microsoft/CompTIA certifications advantageous.
  • Experience: 5+ years in technical support/helpdesk; experience with virtual sports gaming/betting and cloud technologies a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in desktop support, network infrastructures, software installation, and web-based products.
