Duties

• Sets up and maintains user access for all employees
• Implements & manages user and network security
• Server administration
• Firewall and networking
• Backup and recovery
• Active Directory / Exchange / Office 365 / Mimecast
• VoIP
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Builds and modifies custom reports within multiple platforms.
• Researches, recommends, and purchases new hardware and software.
• Evaluates existing software applications & performs routine updates/modifications.
• Installs and maintains new software & hardware ensuring licensing laws are followed.
• Manages and maintains file server s software and hardware.
• Writes documents for user-training and support.
• Manages secure network access for remote users.
• Audits network security and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of ERP software setup and maintenance to support company and employee needs (SAP and Syspro would be advantageous).
• Experience with SQL databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
• Knowledge of system security including intrusion detection systems and data backup/recovery.
• Advanced Knowledge of SQL and VMWare, with associated administration.
• Working knowledge of Excel reporting.
• Capable of producing comprehensive architectural diagrams.
• Manufacturing experience advantageous
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network engineer or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as MCSA, or equivalent certification is preferred
• 3 to 5 years of work experience working with Microsoft server, systems, and software environment required
