My Client in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join their Team.Responsible for ensuring computer systems are well maintained and operate reliably. Tasks include performing regular systems and security monitoring, handling backup procedures and helping set up, maintain and delete user accounts as required. Also responsible for developing and maintaining relevant procedures and standards. Must ensure that hardware and systems work as expected and maintain archives as needed. Additionally, provide technical support related to systems as needed. Also handle patches and upgrades to ensure optimal systems performance. The ability to be able to coordinate workflow is essential in this role. Strong communication skills are essential during troubleshooting procedures and reporting to managementMust be able to make suggestions for how to improve operations as necessary.
