About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team on a contract basis. This role will primarily involve providing technical support on-site as needed, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems, software, and networks. This is a contract position, and compensation will be negotiable based on experience and performance during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Provide on-site technical support for end users as needed. Maintain and monitor computer systems and networks, ensuring smooth operations. Assist with system upgrades, installations, and migrations. Address technical issues and offer solutions in a timely manner. Set up user accounts and permissions, and assist with general system maintenance. Provide documentation on processes, configurations, and system operations. Collaborate with IT staff on larger projects and problem-solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role. Solid understanding of hardware, software, and networking protocols. Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiar with tools for remote support and ticketing systems. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical users. Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.

Additional Information:

This is a contract-based position; hours may vary depending on workload and on-site needs. Pay will be negotiable based on experience, and hourly rates will be discussed during the interview. Flexible working hours though on-site presence when required.
