Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join our team in Joburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering first-line support for networked computers, managing hardware, LAN, low-level server support, software support, and maintaining the printer environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide first-line support for networked computers and manage related hardware.Handle LAN and low-level server support.Offer software support for various applications and systems.Maintain and manage the printer environment.Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues as they arise.Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.Educational Requirements:MatricA+ CertificationN+ CertificationExperience:Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in a similar IT environment.Working knowledge of networks and network topologies.Hands-on experience and a willingness to learn.Proven ability to solve problems effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages.Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.Must have own transport and a valid drivers license.Experience with remote monitoring tools and remote support tools.Knowledge of VOIP systems is advantageous.Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience with network security and firewalls is a plus.
