Our team is searching for an Italian-speaking Reservations Agent to join our client. In this role, you will provide a full-service professional reservations and ticketing service to all customers and travel businesses through telephone calls or in-person meetings. Your goal will be to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and meet annual revenue targets.Your key job responsibilities as the Italian speaking Reservations Agent in Cape Town, South Africa will include:
- Conduct proper flight firming checks to maximize flight utilization and reduce no-shows.
- Assist mishandled passengers to minimize complaints.
- Utilize an online computer reservation system to determine space availability.
- Issue tickets and quote correct fares to reduce passenger complaints.
- Advise passengers of changes in flight plans or confirm/cancel reservations.
- Maintain inventory of available passenger space on flights.
- Record and process reservations made via phone, fax, or email.
- Prepare and execute action plans to increase reservation sales and associated business.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- High school qualification with a minimum of two years of job-related experience.
- Knowledge of a Computerized Reservation System is preferred.
- A sound understanding of world geography.
