About you and the key skills we're looking for:

Are you a skilled Java developer with 3-7 years of experience, preferably in financial services? Do you excel in developing and enhancing applications using Java and J2EE, and have experience with RESTful APIs and Spring Boot?


We're looking for someone with knowledge of open systems and.NET and familiarity with life insurance and risk policy business processes. AWS experience is a bonus. As a collaborative team player, you'll thrive in modernisation projects, design discussions, and delivering high-quality software solutions. Your ability to work on modernisation projects and utilise design patterns will ensure robust solutions.

Key responsibilities:

In this role, you will leverage your strong Java development experience to design and implement robust, secure solutions within the financial services industry. Some of your duties will include:

Develop and enhance applications using Java and J2EE. Work on modernisation projects to update and improve existing systems. Design and implement RESTful APIs. Utilize Spring Boot for application development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Document solutions effectively as a collaborative team player. Write stable, secure code and apply design patterns
