SUMMARY:
Java Development Manager - CENTURION/ Hybrid - R1.3m Per annumPOSITION INFO:Fast-paced PTA based financial institution require a Java experienced Development Manager with previous commercial Java development experience in conjunction with team leadership skills.If you have strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail and effective communication and interpersonal skills this role is for you!Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
- Oversee daily operations and ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs
- Plan, execute, and deliver software projects on time and within budget
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for system integrations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
- Foster a collaborative environment among teams and departments
- Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders
- Liaise with senior management to align IT strategies with business goals
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development and IT teams
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
