Job Description
Masa Outsourcing is currently looking for a Junior Diesel Mechanic who will assist in maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles, trailer brakes, suspension and machinery. This position involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and completing repairs under the guidance of senior mechanics.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and systems.
- Must have knowledge and experience of trailer brakes and suspension
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other standard services.
- Inspect and troubleshoot issues related to engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to assess mechanical systems and identify malfunctions.
- Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of engines and other systems for repair.
- Maintain work records and reports of completed tasks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support senior mechanics with complex repairs and installations.
- High school diploma or certificate
- Trade test certificate
- Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience or internship in a workshop.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the diesel mechanics field.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or 23 kg).
- Capability to work in different weather conditions and environments.
- Willing to work shifts
