Jnr Pharmacy Sales Rep KZN Sales
Durban - KwaZulu Natal - South AfricaWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Junior Pharmacy Sales Representative / Merchandiser Specialist to join our clients pharmacy team in KwaZulu-Natal. In this role, you will be responsible for calling on pharmacies, promoting and category-managing OTC Business Unit Products to maximise their visibility and sales within both Independent and Corporate Pharmacies.Required Learning:

  • Grade 12. A tertiary qualification in Commerce and/or Science will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Independent and Corporate Pharmacy.
  • Proven record in self-medication and FMCG markets.
Key Job Outputs:
  • Drive product visibility and optimise space allocation within pharmacies to increase sales.
  • Leverage experience in retail and marketing to enhance product placement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Customers.
  • Identify new market opportunities and growth areas for the business.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies successfully.
  • Analyse regional sales, competitor activity, and market data to develop strategies and action plans for maximising sales potential.
  • Professionally address and resolve customer complaints and queries.
  • Be prepared to travel as required to meet business needs.
Core Competencies:The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong customer service orientation, who is highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently as well as in a team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate prime product placement with pharmacists and maintain engaging product displays. A strong understanding of business principles, financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse industry trends, competitor dynamics, and market conditions are essential.
