An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join Stefanutti Stocks Western Cape as a Junior Planner. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager to build their career in construction planning and gain valuable experience in project scheduling and management.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project schedules and updating programme progress.
• Support in the preparation of tender programmes and method statements.
• Work closely with senior planners and site teams to track and update project progress.
• Help in analysing the impact of delays and prepare extension of time claims under supervision.
• Learn to interpret and apply JBCC contract requirements related to planning and scheduling.

• Qualification: National Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 12 years of experience in planning, preferably in a construction or civil engineering environment.
• Software Skills:Exposure to Primavera P6 and/or CCS (Candy) would be an advantage.
• Travel: Candidate may be required to travel and work in remote locations
• Certificate of Fitness required: successful candidate will be required to pass a medical assessment, which includes a drug test.
• Technical Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of interpreting construction drawings, scope of work, and Bills of Quantities.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies and project scheduling principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
