:DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting department by handling various accounting tasks effectively and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a BCom degree in Accounting or similar qualifications to develop their skills in a professional environment.These persons will form part of our production personnel. What that entails are that they will be responsible for a variety of clients and services as part of our billable fees to clients. (As confirmation - Our main business is accounting, tax and advisory work.)Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing timely and accurate data.
• Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide support during internal and external audits as required.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (BCom Accounting preferred).
• Certifications such as PA(SA) or CA(SA) are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to professional ethics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn continuously.
