Job Summary Dynamic and professional Accounting Consultancy seeks a Junior Accountant to join them. This role is well suited to a recently graduated accounting candidate, who has good levels of confidence, and who is willing to learn and has a keen interest in growing into an Accountant servicing a variety of clients and industries. This role is available on a largely remote working model. Role reports to Director. Great opportunity to get into a growing consultancy! Responsibilities: Bookkeeping (Xero, Quickbooks accounting packages) capture supplier invoices and raising client invoices Bank reconciliations Maintain Fixed Asset register Reconcile intercompany loans Prepare monthly management accounts Reconcile Supplier statements Assist with Accounts receivable collections Prepare payroll and SARS submissions (efilling, Simple Pay payroll package) Review and submit VAT201 on efilling Submit Income Tax on efilling Assist with Budgets and Cash flow forecasts Prepare and review Annual Financial statements COIDA annual declarations (workman's compensation) Submit CIPC Annual returns Process documents on Sales, Purchases and Payroll Requirements: Minimum of completed BCom Accounting degree Minimum of 0-3 years' relevant experience Must be MS Office proficient and strong MS Excel skills Previous experience with Xero, Quickbooks, efilling an added plus, but can be trained, too Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
