Job Description
Production / Manufacturing Facility based on the East Rand, has an opening for a Junior Accountant (with SAICA Articles) to join their team.The key responsibilities include the recording of financial transactions and reports, financial compliance and overall adherence to financial accounting principles.REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
xe2x96xaa Relevant Accounting / Financial degree
xe2x96xaa SAICA Articles
xe2x96xaa Sound knowledge of VAT rulesJob Requirements:
xe2x96xaa Minimum three (3) years' working experience in AccountingKey Responsibilities:
xe2x96xaa Receive and capture journals in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
xe2x96xaa Monthly reconciliation and administration of general ledger accounts for Central Finance
xe2x96xaa Monthly reconciliation of selected creditor accounts and debtor accounts
xe2x96xaa Rebilling of costs across legal entities
xe2x96xaa Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts
xe2x96xaa Assist with budgets and outlooks
xe2x96xaa Manage expenses in-line with budgets
xe2x96xaa Review Cashbook input on monthly basis
xe2x96xaa Attend to audit queries as and when required
xe2x96xaa Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope
