Junior Accountant
Job Description
Production / Manufacturing Facility based on the East Rand, has an opening for a Junior Accountant (with SAICA Articles) to join their team.The key responsibilities include the recording of financial transactions and reports, financial compliance and overall adherence to financial accounting principles.REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Relevant Accounting / Financial degree
SAICA Articles
Sound knowledge of VAT rulesJob Requirements:
Minimum three (3) years' working experience in AccountingKey Responsibilities:
Receive and capture journals in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Monthly reconciliation and administration of general ledger accounts for Central Finance
Monthly reconciliation of selected creditor accounts and debtor accounts
Rebilling of costs across legal entities
Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts
Assist with budgets and outlooks
Manage expenses in-line with budgets
Review Cashbook input on monthly basis
Attend to audit queries as and when required
Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope
