Job Description
Our client in the Financial industry is currently looking for a Junior Accountant, in Johannesburg, Gauteng.Responsibilities:
- Assist with Loan Portfolio accounting matters - billings, calculations, reconciliations, postings.
- Assist with banking transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist with creditor-related matters - expenses, reconciliations, postings.
- Assist with VAT matters.
- Perform ad hoc tasks.
- BCom with Accounting as a major.
- At least one year of Accounting/Bookkeeping experience in a Finance Department.
- 1 - 2 plus years of workplace experience (including part-time student jobs)
- Microsoft Office tools and preferably experience with Xero.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- R17 000 - R25 000 per month.
