Junior Accountant (manufacturing)

Job Description
The purpose of the role will be to maintain financial records and manage daily accounting. The successful incumbent will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure financial transactions are accurate.Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Record daily financial transactions
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and GL accounts
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Inventory management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Co-ordinate with vendors, customers and internal departments for accounting queries
- Finance administration and filing
- BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting field
- 1 to 2 years' experience in an accounting role essential
- Manufacturing / FMCG / Packaging industry experience is essential
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
