JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Black Jills Engineers requires to fill in an entry-level position with a BCom/Diploma requirement in accounting or finance.
QUALIFICATIONS
B Comm Accounting/ Financial Degree or Diploma/Higher Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
1-3 years' relevant experience
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination, reporting, and reviewing financial reports; Analyse and report on financial status including income statement variances and communicating financial results to management; Income Tax submissions for Individuals and Companies; Submit monthly VAT, PAYE and UIF declarations; Process monthly payroll; Annual COIDA and CIPC submissions; Prepare documentation for audit purposes; Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions; Oversee taxes and abide by government regulations; Ad hoc accounting duties that may arise; An entrepreneurial mindset and organizational skills; Prepare Pricing for proposals and projects Procurement of services and products Manage internal services providers Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills; Should be honest and have integrity; Be innovative; Be data-driven; Be digitally competent; Be a good listener; Be open to criticism and new ideas Pay attention to detail Have problem-solving skills Have ability to communicate clearly and effectively
