• Maintain the monthly accounting records, including processing and reconciliation of transactions.
• Assist with monthly debt collection where appropriate.
• Prepare payment packs, including relevant supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
• Prepare monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with statutory requirements, e.g. preparation of resolutions and minutes.
• Support the annual audit process by preparing relevant documentation.
• Contribute to the development and integration of financial systems and processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide ad-hoc support to various members of the finance team.

• Bachelors degree in financial accounting required.
• SAICA articles preferred.
• Working knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced excel skills preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective planning, organizational and time-management skills.
