Bookkeeper - Blackheath / Kuils RiverFull job descriptionOur client has the above position available. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and analytical individual with a systematic approach to work, as well as the ability to work independently and accurately under pressure.The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) for our group of companies:xc2xb7 Bookkeeping up to balance sheet (Cashbook processing and journals)xc2xb7 Bank reconciliations.xc2xb7 GL recons for all balance sheet accountsxc2xb7 Managing logbooks for company fleet/vehiclesxc2xb7 Monthly VAT201 and EMP201 reconciliation and submissionxc2xb7 Yearend closure and assistance in preparing the annual audit files.xc2xb7 Creditors function, including monthly credit run.xc2xb7 Capturing of purchase ordersxc2xb7 All other financial and administrative duties related to this position.Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:xc2xb7 Degree in Financial Accounting (BAcc/Com/BCompt) or similarxc2xb7 Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles will be advantageous.xc2xb7 Minimum 5 years experience in a similar positionxc2xb7 Excellent computer skills (MS Office, SYSPRO)xc2xb7 Own reliable transportxc2xb7 Preferably bilingualxc2xb7 Able to follow processes.xc2xb7 Strong attention to detail.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Recruitment and selection will be made in terms of the Company Employment Equity and Equal Opportunity Policy.Job Type: Full-timeThe Client Offers:- Competitive market related salary
