They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join their team.This role is based in Benoni, Johannesburg East.Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing: Efficiently manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee payments.
• Tax Filings: Prepare and file EMP201, EMP501, VAT returns, and UIF documents.
• SARS Correspondence: Handle communication and queries from SARS (South African Revenue Service) promptly and professionally.
• Client Data Management: Collect necessary data from clients, follow up on outstanding information, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• SARS Registrations: Assist with the registration processes for various SARS requirements.
• WCA: Manage Workers' Compensation Administration (WCA) processes.
• Managerial Support: Provide support to the manager as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience needed:

• A relevant qualification in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Basic understanding of payroll processing and tax filing.
• Familiarity with SARS procedures and requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
