Junior Brand Manager | Umhlanga Rocks | Seychelles based hospitality GroupWe are looking a motivated JUNIOR BRAND MANAGER to join the team of this Seychelles based Hospitality Group. The group manages a number of luxury lodges as well as offers many ocean-based activities. The head office is located in South Africa, Umhlanga Rocks.As the perfect candidate, apart from the below skills, the personality plays a crucial role here and it is required that you love the outdoors, sun and are comfortable swimming in the ocean as on the occasions, you will be dealing with water-based marketing campaigns.Job Overview:As Junior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving both sales and marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives. This role involves developing and executing effective sales and marketing campaigns, supporting the sales and marketing teams, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies for lead generation through various channels, including digital marketing, events, and partnerships.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with sales goals and overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to marketing and sales efforts.
  • Assist the sales team by providing marketing materials, sales collateral, and other resources to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with the sales team to make sure all marketing material, rates sheets, content and other documents are always up to date.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Utilize market intelligence to adapt marketing and sales strategies for optimal results.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Formulating campaign strategy, researching potential marketing channels, analyzing competitors, and testing.
  • Analyzing the performance of campaigns, identifying strategic opportunities, and facilitating change to hit and exceed expectations and KPIs.
  • Building audiences and digital community management.
  • Audience engagement.
  • Copywriting and content creation.
  • Optimization of copy.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing as well as consumer behaviour and recommend improvements.
  • Email marketing and campaigns.
  • Blog building and publishing.
  • CRM Management.
  • Facilitate all design projects internally and with external design agencies.
  • Facilitate any copy, media or content required for web builds, internally and with external digital media agencies.
  • Maintaining the relationship with external PR agencies.
  • Provide support to the sales and marketing managers, across all companies.
Skills Required / Pre-requisites:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Must be a graduate and hold a diploma or degree in marketing or business.
  • Proven 2 years' experience in both sales and marketing roles.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office. (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook).
  • Excellent email etiquette.
  • Possess strong business writing skills and be able to produce high-quality documents.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
  • Be aware of all the latest digital marketing tactics strategies and securities.
  • Be willing to work in a dynamic, ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to think creatively and work independently.
  • Must be able to travel locally and internationally, when required.
  • Proficient in digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to contribute innovative ideas.
