We are seeking a
Junior Business Development Manager
to play a key role in expanding their market presence and fostering strong client connections.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling, lead generation, and setting up appointments.
Build and nurture relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, directors, high-net-worth individuals, and key decision-makers.
Attend networking events to represent the company and cultivate connections.
Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities.
Maintain and manage a basic sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups and reporting.
Requirements:
Experience:
2-3 years in business development, sales, or marketing.
Industry Insight:
Experience working with business owners, high-net-worth individuals, family businesses, or within professional services (accounting, audit, consulting) is a plus.
Proactive Approach:
Comfortable with prospecting, initiating conversations, and generating leads.
Strong Networker:
Confident in attending events and engaging with potential clients.
Organized & Goal-Oriented:
Able to manage a sales pipeline and meet targets.
Excellent communication

Understanding of the South African business landscape
