What will you do?
To be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing relationships and growing Glacier Partners Absa market share by penetrating new markets, through superior ability to offer investment guidance and support. This position will be based in our regional office in Johannesburg.
Key outcomes
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Junior Business Development Manager: Supporting the existing Business Development Managers (BDM's) in the region to develop Glacier market share by prospecting for new business and increasing retention of existing investment planners
Working with the BDM's to market and promote the products and services to the Independent financial advisers.
Organising and training of the financial advisers in all aspects of investments, collective investment schemes and investment platform solutions.
Ensuring that Glacier partners Absa regional sales targets are met.
Attending to general tasks associated with providing sales support to intermediaries.
Qualifications and experience
Preference will be given to people with a financial qualification and CFP qualification will be beneficial
Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
1-2 years' experience in a similar role within the investment / collective investment service industry
