Job Description
My client, an established Engineering Company located in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, has a vacancy for a Junior Calibration & Validation Technician to join their team. This is a perfect opportunity for a candidate who is eager to grow into a great career within this reputable organisation.Criteria:
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong time management and planning abilities
- Minimum matric; previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally
- Valid driver's license and valid passport
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Technical aptitude
- Work under the supervision of Senior Validation and Calibration Technicians
- Perform calibrations on metal detectors, check weighers, and validations on rare earth magnets at client sites
- Compile validation certificates for mailing to clients
- Provide quotations to clients for validations and calibrations
- Assist with sales of company products
- Conduct maintenance on equipment as needed
