Request origin station / trade lane to follow up with Supplier,
Monitoring of rates
Capture order in CargoWise, as & when provided by CS / KAM / Client
Communicate with Origin / Trade Lane to ensure required action is executed via e-mail or telephone
Request shipping documents and shipment details from Origin, to start the Clearing process at Destination
Quality check the pre alert as to ensure the correct selling rates were applied and that all documents are present, bills, (air/ocean), suppliers' invoice, packing list, any certificates and origin agents' invoice
Cross check estimates against actual shipment and verify in CargoWise
Queries resolution
Ensure client info is continuously updated in CargoWise
What You Bring:
Knowledge & Experience:
Matric or Senior Certification equivalent
Computer literate
Cargo Wise 1 experience
Knowledge off all modes of transport - Air, Ocean, and Road
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry
Skills & Attributes:
Good conceptual, analytical and numeracy skills
Ability to resolve queries timeously
Good communication skills
Good time management skills
High attention to detail
Adjusting effectively to work with new structures, processes, and requirements
Develop and sustain productive internal & external customer relationships
Monitoring the results of assignments
Maintaining stable performance under pressure
