Job Description
Our Cape Town office is looking for a Junior/Mid-weight Copywriter with specialities in both ATL and Digital to join our Creative Team.Our ideal candidate:
- Has agency experience
- Knowledge of writing for TV, radio and social platforms preferable
- Able to work across various target markets, platforms and channels
- Willing to learn and understand retail brands
- Keeps a cool head and delivers exceptional results under pressure, against fast and tight deadlines and in volume
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and is resourceful; focused and level-headed
- Must be Cape Town based and willing to work in office as well as from home
- Can translate a brief and the strategic requirements into a compelling creative solution
- Together with an Art Director, can generate effective creative concepts for individual adverts or campaigns based on sound strategies and insights
- Minimum relevant experience required:
Copywriting experience or can demonstrate an ability to think and write creatively
Relevant work experience as a Copywriter in an advertising agency (a television, radio and/or social portfolio is required)
Solid knowledge/understanding of digital platforms in conjunction with more traditional channels
Solid working knowledge and understanding of social content essential.
Knowledge of SEO and SEM, AdWords, Analytics and Reporting would be a plus.Interested candidates must please submit a concise CV, portfolio and salary expectation.
