Junior Cost Accountant
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Junior Cost Accountant with experience gained in a FMCG environment.
Location is Cape Town - Winelands
Non-negotiable requirements:
Financial Accounting Diploma or BCompt Degree
3 - 5 years general cost management and financial accounting &administration experience in a financial corporate environment or manufacturing industry environment
Beneficial qualification:
CIMA or SAIPA registered will be beneficial
The purpose of the job is to calculate accurate manufacturing costs so that the correct selling price and gross margins can be established, ensure accurate stock intake on the ERP system and assist with general accounting functions in the finance department
Duties;
1. Review accuracy of stock counts for all winehouses
2. Production orders and analysis of input costs
3. Bulk stock management
4. Reconciliations & Accounting
5. Dry goods creditors
6. Compliance
7. Review accuracy of stock counts per department
8. Production Orders and analysis of input costs
